Core program, fitment, shipping, and what happens after you hit order. If it's not here, ask us directly.

The core program

What is a "core," and why does it matter for pricing?

Your core is your existing knuckle assembly. Sending it in means we rebuild what you already own instead of sourcing a fresh salvage pair — that's the difference between our core price and the +$200 sourced price. It's the same reason engine and transmission rebuilders work this way.

I don't have my old knuckles anymore — can you still build me a set?

Yes. We'll source a pair for you for +$200 on top of the build price. Condition varies since it's salvage, but every knuckle goes through the same strip, press, and paint process before it ships regardless of where it came from.

Can I order now and send my cores in after?

We confirm your build and get your cores in hand before work starts. Submit your build request and we'll walk you through shipping your cores in the same reply.

Fitment

What vehicles does this fit?

Rear knuckle assemblies for the Lexus IS300 (2001–2005) right now. A GS300 kit is in development — join the list on the shop page and we'll reach out when it's ready.

Does this fit swapped or heavily modified chassis?

The knuckle itself bolts to factory geometry, so engine or drivetrain swaps don't affect fitment. If you're running a modified suspension setup (different control arms, hub spacing, etc.), tell us in your build notes and we'll flag anything that needs a second look.

Will these work with my current control arms and bushings?

Yes — the knuckle mounts the same way stock does. If you're keeping your existing arms, our upgraded bushings and hardware on the Track Build are optional, not required for fitment.

Shipping & returns

How long does a build take?

Most builds ship 2–3 weeks after we receive your cores — strip, blast, paint, press, and assembly all happen in-house, so turnaround depends on queue and paint cure time. We'll give you a firmer window once your build is confirmed.

How do I ship my cores to you?

Once your build request comes in, we'll send you our shipping address and packing guidelines — knuckles ship best boxed individually with the spindle protected. No need to remove bearings or bushings first, we handle full teardown.

Do you ship the finished build internationally?

Domestic shipping is standard. International orders are handled case by case — mention your location in your build request and we'll quote freight separately.

What if something arrives damaged or wrong?

Photograph it as soon as it arrives and reach out immediately — shipping damage and build errors are on us to make right, full stop.

Install notes

Is this truly bolt-on?

Yes. Bearings pressed, brake hardware assembled, dust seals seated — the knuckle shows up ready to bolt to your spindle and arms. No pressing, no blasting, no last-minute parts run.

What tools do I need?

Standard hand tools and a torque wrench — the same setup you'd use for any suspension install. No press, no specialty tools required on your end.

Do I need an alignment after install?

Always get an alignment after any suspension work, especially with the solid bushings on the Track Build — they remove play, which means your baseline geometry will shift slightly from stock.

Warranty

What's covered?

Workmanship — press fits, paint, and assembly — is covered against defects for 12 months from delivery. If something we built fails on its own, we make it right.

What voids it?

Impact damage, curbing, collision, or wear from track and drift use itself isn't covered — that's the nature of the sport, not a defect. The warranty protects the build, not the abuse it's built for.
